Overview

Sojag began as a sunroom and solarium manufacturer before expanding into gazebos and pergolas. It was acquired by ShelterLogic Corp in 2018 and merged with ShelterLogic’s Canadian operations in 2022, giving it access to larger-scale manufacturing and distribution while retaining its own product lines.

Is it worth it?

Sojag is worth it for value buyers who want a sturdy, fast-assembling aluminum shade structure and do not need true adjustable louvers. Its Yamba pergola goes up in a fraction of the time of louvered competitors and holds up well, though it needs a level, hard surface and the included hardware is worth upgrading. For weather-adaptive coverage rather than fixed shade, step up to a louvered pergola instead.
