The verdict

This matchup is value versus convenience. The FlexiSpot E7 is the better hardware deal by a wide margin: around $369 complete buys a 355 lb capacity (vs the Vari’s 200 lbs), a lower minimum height for short users, and the same 15-year warranty class — for less than half the Vari’s ~$829. The Vari Electric’s case rests almost entirely on experience: its patented quick-attach frame assembles in about 10–15 minutes (the E7 is a two-person, ~45–60 minute job), its laminate top feels a notch more premium, and its lifetime warranty edges even FlexiSpot’s 15 years. Both wobble a little at full height on their T-frames. Choose the E7 if you want the most desk and capacity per dollar and don’t mind an hour of assembly; choose the Vari if a near-instant, tool-free setup and a lifetime warranty are worth paying roughly double for.
